Banana Chocolate Peanut Butter Overnight Oats

My pup, Heilan, makes everything sweeter.

Lately, I've been slackin' on the breakfast game.

I used to be a big breakfast eater: omelets, pancakes, scrambles, wraps, you name it. Since I've been training harder in the morning, my body hasn't been craving a heavy breakfast. I resorted to nut bars with low sugar or some gluten free toast with peanut butter and cinnamon. < insert blank face emoji >

I miss my rad breakfasts! Where did they go?! My workout game has been on, so my body needs an ON breakfast. Why not try some overnight oats? It's fast and easy. Oh, and the best part? It's ready right when you wake up so you don't have to prepare anything before you get your caffeine in. It's all prepared the night before. BLESS UP!

I like to give my recipes a lil sum'n special. It's like a present to myself. So, I made a chocolate peanut butter to put in the mix.

Here are the #nomnom deets:

Banana Chocolate Peanut Butter Overnight Oats

1/2 cup Oatmeal
1/4 cup Yogurt (dairy or non dairy)
3/4 cup Almond or Coconut Milk (more milk is less thick of consistency, less milk is thicker)
4 tbsp Coconut shavings
1/2 scoop Protein Powder of your choice (my fave is the PLNT brand!)
1/4 Banana sliced

For Chocolate Peanut Butter:
2 tbsp Peanut Butter
1 tbsp Raw Cocao Powder
1 tsp Agave Nectar
Mix it all together. Taste test. I'll go ahead and say "you're welcome" now.

- Mix all ingredients together, excluding bananas, in a jar or container of your choosing the night before. Top with sliced bananas and maybe even more of that chocolate peanut butter because...YOLO. Cover and put in the fridge. Wake up from your beauty slumber and enjoy. It's THAT easy! Top with cocao nibs and cinnamon for a little extra treat. You deserve it!
